This is a Reeeeealy awesome fun and competent program
I am very pleased we have it, but our version is old.
The current stable is 0.16 from April 2016, adding many features.

In these days when 3D printing is getting very popular this seem like a great program to have packaged and a selling argument for Mageia :)
My son was jumling in the sofa when i showed him.

( 0.17 add even more features but is not officially released yet )

BTW, it seem to not be very hard to compile 0.17 development version locally, i will try later:

freecad is now updated on Cauldron to latest stable 0.16 release!

Cauldron got that update per comment 2 and is working nicely, thanks David G.

That Cauldron is mga6 now.

mga5 is going EOS now.

FreeCAD 0.17 is yet not officially released. - It is delayed more than half a year but an increasing lot of work seem to be done to it. At 88% currently.

Hopefully mga7 will be released with 0.17, and maybe as update to mga6

(Of course if someone have extra steem an intermediate update would be pleasant)
