Description Paul Bennett 2016-11-27 16:25:09 CET
Description of problem:
From the report:-
1 installation transactions failed

There was a problem during the installation:

libicui18n.so.53 is needed by (installed) libqtcore4-4:4.8.6-9.mga5.i586

libicui18n.so.53 is needed by (installed) libsqlite3_0-3.8.10.2-1.2.mga5.i586

libicuuc.so.53 is needed by (installed) libqtcore4-4:4.8.6-9.mga5.i586

libicuuc.so.53 is needed by (installed) libsqlite3_0-3.8.10.2-1.2.mga5.i586

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
This is a notified update and the update flag is not cleared even though this update has failed. My system is definite an X86_64 based system and all the above are asking for i586 components.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just following the normal flagged update procedure on an X86_64 machine seems to be sufficient to reproduce the problem. Quitting out of the update process does not clear the notification roundel from the screen.

What is the output of

    rpm -qa | grep lib64qtcore4 && rpm -qa | grep lib64sqlite3

Please do also run

    rpm -qa --last | grep i586 > i586.txt

and attach i586.txt to this bug report.

Looks like the problem disappeared on my end. If nothing was fixed in the last couple of hours, then it could be just an outdated mirror.

/me should have looked at which packages had just gotten pushed, when this bug was reported.

Alexander is right, a bunch of *icu* packages had just landed on the mirrors, but, apparently, not all of them at exactly the same time.

So this was just a temporary hiccup.

Assuming it's OK now for Paul, too, and closing this report.

Feel free to reopen if needed.
