2.boot to disk
3.i386 listed as boot option

There is no attachment to that bug.

You're saying it is similar to how it was on the dual arch isos (iinm, they had an option to boot i586 in their boot menu), correct?

Looks like somehow Anne pulled in a i386 version of the isolinux directory instead of the i586 version that was on the Mageia 5 ISO. And in the isolinux/isolinux.cfg file, there is an extra entry:

label i386
  kernel i386/vmlinuz
  append initrd=i386/all.rdz vga=788 splash quiet noiswmd

which accounts for the "i386" menu option Ben (and I) see.
