Description Hartmut Schulze 2016-11-08 15:30:20 CET
Description of problem:

installed on a fresh GNOME Cauldron on real hardware
Krusader 2.5.0-1.mga6 will not work:

Solution: needs some additional dependencies.

1. kinit 5.27.0-1.mga6
2. kio 5.27.0-1.mga6
3. kded 5.27.0-1.mga6

and for running as root:

4. kdesu 5.27.0-1.mga6
   (installs automagicly lib64kdesu5 4.14.25-1.mga6)
5. kdebase4-runtime 16.08.2-2.mga6

Otherwise some parts of krusader will not run...
Kdesu is needed for language and icons too.

Even then "properties, file association, open with" does not work.

or this a plasma ( KF5 ) apps, or a KDE4 one,

I won't mix the 2

Comment 4 David GEIGER 2016-11-10 18:44:44 CET
krusader is now 100% ported to KF5/Qt5, no more a kde4 apps.
