Description of problem:
Todays morning updates broke kde5 and sddm ... 
sddm crashes, after this mornings update. 
switched to gnome , because that still works
twincle crashes and segfaults after claiming incompatible libraries.

1.do the updates
2.reboot

add kmail to the not working anymore applications.

How can you undo an update, it looks like i need to.

You updated Qt partially to version 5.6.2 while the stack is being updated. You'll have to wait for the update to be completed to fix your installation: monitor pkgsubmit.mageia.org to see what happens on cauldron before making your updates.

Alternatively you can try to find a mirror that hasn't synced yet and use its qt 5.6.1 RPMs to downgrade (with `urpmi --downgrade`), but that can be tedious.

Ok, I will wait, sddm is working now, but kwin is still dead.

Back to gnome for desktopping

hi,

just for the record, there is no KDE5 ( never ;) )and  this is not KDE anymore but the desktop is plasma.

closing as this is fixed now.
