Testing this for x86_64. Have been using arteFetcher for some time now but qarte 3.4.0 fails to connect as stated; loads of http errors. Installed the update and had no trouble connecting to arte.tv. A large selection of downloads was displayed. Made a selection and configured the resolution and chose French subtitles. Downloaded the film at ~ 6MB/s. Checked the mp4 file in vlc - correct resolution, subtitles displayed. The filter in the gui works. OK for 64-bits. Shall check it in 32bit virtualbox later. CC:

MGA5-64-OK i586 virtualbox Installed qarte-3.4.0 then upgraded to qarte-3.5.0 from updates testing. It functioned perfectly. Downloaded an mp4 file and ran it from vlc. All OK; subtitles, sound, requested resolution. Slightly odd behaviour with the menu item About; the information is displayed for several seconds and then disappears. Passing this and validating. Could someone in sysadmin please push it to updates - thanks.
