marja11 (In reply to Marja van Waes from comment #1) > Assigning to all packagers collectively, since there is no registered > maintainer for this package. I don't know how hard it is to maintain a package, but if it's not too hard, and a mentor is patient enough with me, I would be interested in maintaining this one. I guess nothing else depends on it, so it should be a good starting point. Actually there are quite a few packages that depend on gnuplot, but it would probably not be a big issue anyway: gnupylot gretl maxima maxima-gui maxima-runtime-clisp maxima-runtime-ecl maxima-runtime-gcl maxima-runtime-sbcl nightfall octave octave-devel octave-plplot pfstools-octave qalculate-gtk qtoctave task-astronomy wxmaxima It would be great if you want to become a packager and maintain gnuplot, I could probably mentor you if you want. See https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager for information on how to get started, and don't hesitate to ask for details on IRC #mageia-mentoring. Hi. I'm a lead developer on the gnuplot side and a long-time Mageia user. Feel free to ping me on any packaging issues. As a heads-up, version 5.0.5 will be released in the next week or so. CC:

RESOLVED FYI gnuplot 5.0.6 will be released later this month. There's a testing copy gnuplot-5.0.6pre on SourceForge in the "5.0 Release Candidates" folder. Nothing major, just the usual miscellany of bug fixes and a couple of minor new features. |
