This is certainly an encoding issue.

In Dolphin, I have shortcuts to the Téléchargements and a Vidéos directories (that I added manually because at the time of installation they were not added automatically to dolphin. I don't know if it's ok in newer installs). They do appear in kmozillahelper but clicking on them does nothing, and it works with non-accented directories.

I'll investigate some more about this issue. Reporting it mainly to not forget and allow others to confirm (or not).

I can't reproduce this bug on Mageia 5; "Téléchargements" and "Vidéos" shortcuts work fine. I don't have a Cauldron install currently to test this bug.

I had to re-create the Téléchargements and Vidéos shortcuts and now it works. Since I can't reproduce anymore and no one else reported it, I'll close it.

I think I've had (or might still have) the same issue on Cauldron, but it would probably be worth checking if it's still valid in a clean Mageia 6 install.
