I can reproduce this issue. I also tried creating a new user, thinking it could be a config upgrade problem, but I saw the same behavior. CC:

dbello Something specific to Mageia and started with Plasma 5.8 beta? KaOS Plasma 5.7.95 based live media displays panel digital clock applet just OK. It seems that in Mageia /.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file does not contain any information about digital clock applet configuration... No clock anymore for me either since plasma 5.7.95 confirmed here too. Status:

ASSIGNED Animtim gave the link to a bug Shlomi filed upstream. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369063 After removing the first (obviously wrong) character in /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.digitalclock/contents/config/main.xml and logging out and back in, the clock works again CC:
