Description of problem:

plymouth do not show the background image, but only the animation (cauldron, bubble)
If I execute the dracut -f command, the display is correct in the starting up.

I tried to reconstruct the package by modifying the script posttrans, but without result. I think that the problem is there.

I took advantage of it to modify the specfile, to make it more readable

This is a temporary situation until default.png link is created by the installer.

The background should appear from second boot onwards at present.

Yes the obfuscated spec is hard to read and does need changing, so I will look at your work on simplification.

I will close this bug as invalid for now as we can live with no background for one boot until this is fixed before release.

Please feel free to open it again if you disagree or if the background does not appear on second boot.

What do you think about Georges' idea? The attached is cleaned and modified to remove -common package which is currently empty.
It could be re-instated if/when more themes (really?) are added.
