Sorry for the late reply. Does this still occur after fully updating your system? If so, which desktop environment do you use? Does this also happen with a new user? Keywords:

David, can you please log into this bug report and answer those questions? I have not had this issue for about 2 weeks. The issue was fixed with one of the Plasma updates I presume. My computer is working flawlessly with Plasma 5.8 and kernel 4.8.1 and Frameworks 5.27.
