Please start LO witer in a console (with libreoffice -writer). The crash should show some output. Please add then this output to the bug. CC:

NEEDINFO I also experienced crashes, but in calc: I would copy/paste some text to the empty spreadship, start adding rows, columns, typing text, and suddenly it would crash. CC:
