drivers The original report was done with the nouveau graphics driver. When I boot into an nvidia system, the only files not found where: ls: cannot access '/usr/share/man/man1/nvidia-modprobe.1.xz': No such file or directory ls: cannot access '/usr/share/man/man1/nvidia-persistenced.1.xz': No such file or directory The files are missing when nouveau is used because all are symlinks created by update-alternatives when the nvidia driver is selected. 2 files (links) /usr/share/man/man1/nvidia-modprobe.1.xz /usr/share/man/man1/nvidia-persistenced.1.xz are also supposed to be created in the same manner but for some reason are not. The actual files do exist in /usr/share/man/man1/alt-nvidia* and will be invoked normally by 'man nvidia-modprobe' or 'man nvidia-persistenced', only the link is missing. CC:
