I've launched several applications from the menu and saved one file in Kwrite, but Recent Applications and Recent Documents in the menu are grayed out and clicking them doesn't do anything.

Note that while I can still reproduce this issue on a physical machine that has been upgraded from Mageia 5, I cannot reproduce it on a VMWare VM that was upgraded from Mageia 5.  I'm not sure what the difference is.

I don't reproduce in a cauldron install (so, not upgraded from Mageia 5). I doubt we'll be able to fix it without more information about the computer that has the problem.

KDE group, what information would help diagnosing?

I have seen the issue on three different systems (2 VMs and one physical) upgraded from mga5 with orphans removed.  I believe it's a missing dependency.
