My laptop is Mageia 5 i586 and actually uses most of these (kernel-firmware-nonfree, radeon-firmware, ralink-firmware) and it's fine. Our workstations at work are Mageia 5 x86_64 and use radeon-firmware. We have a server that depends on kernel-firmware-nonfree to make its network interfaces work. Everything's working fine. This is safe to validate. Keywords:
