Cannot reproduce. Make sure all related packages were updated. Status:

UNCONFIRMED pidgin, pidgin-i18n and pidgin-plugins. I don't think there are other related packages. See the list of packages at the end of https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18754#c3 You probably have at least lib64purple0 too. ok, for some reason, selecting pidgin 2.11.0 only selected pidgin-i18n and pidgin-plugins, but not lib64purple0. This last one was still at 2.10.11. Now it works. Sorry for the noise. Status:
