Description of problem:
cauldron uptodate.
I launched juffed from console.
I opened a file (not void) from menu or from the command line.
The text area is void.
It can't be edited (no character is populated)

juffed it's no longer maintained and this br is still applicable to mga8.

maybe juffed should be obsoleted.

if it is ok, I'll put an entry in task-obsolete.
