geiger.david68210 I haven't noticed this recently; at some time the hexchat icon was fully unresponsive on plasma5, but it got fixed a few months ago with an update to xembedsniproxy. Maybe I was just lucky, I'll keep my eyes open and try to reproduce the bug :) Well I can no longer test as hexchat as now does not close to tray any more in cauldron - it just vanishes like it did months ago. [baz@localhost ~]$ ps aux|grep [h]exchat baz 7123 0.2 0.6 647468 50088 ? Sl 18:29 0:01 /bin/hexchat baz 27545 0.4 0.6 650004 52168 ? Sl 18:37 0:00 /bin/hexchat --existing [baz@localhost ~]$ The first one was autostarted at boot which vanished on closing, the second I started manually - that also vanished on closing. Seems it's running but no means of access :( ...and tonight it's there in the systray again. Still takes anything between 1 and 10 (yes ten) clicks to open it though. Upping severity as this is really annoying. Severity:

major Bug filed upstream: https://github.com/hexchat/hexchat/issues/1804 Is this bug maybe fixed for now? :) For me it's working fine on Cauldron. Can't help as I gave up with hexchat and now use quassel. (In reply to Barry Jackson from comment #8) > Can't help as I gave up with hexchat and now use quassel. You are the reporter, should we close it then as RESOLVED -> WORKSFORME? I'm not using plasma myself, so I can't test it :) Works for me. Resolution:
