Description of problem:

Wifi chipset (Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300) is not correctly detected immediatly after boot since update to v4.4.13 of Linux kernel. I have to wait 30secs/1min before it gets detected and I can connect to wifi.

No problem with kernel v4.1.8.

Please provide logs.

reboot into 4.1.8 (or any of the 4.1 series) 

then as root in a terminal:
journalctl -b >bug18824-4.1.txt

after that, reboot into 4.4.13:

then as root in a terminal:
journalctl -b >bug18824-4.4.txt


and attach both files to this report.

Mass-reassigning all bugs with "kernel" in the Source RPM field that are assigned to tmb, to the kernel packagers group, because tmb is currently MIA.

Problem persists with kernel-linus-4.4.16-1.mga5. I'm currently still stuck with 4.1.8.

Hi Augier,

1. Please provide the logs.

2. If it happens with kernel-linus, then this is likely a problem with the upstream kernel. Maybe try reporting it to the kernel's bug tracker.

This should be fixed in our 4.4.22 package that should land in updates soon-ish
