saptech I forgot to mention I did a fresh install of Mageia 6 Developers 1 ISO after it first came out and have been updating it since. Getting the same error while updating my own system, of mga5->mga6 urpmi-based upgrade ancestry. Been updating on a roughly daily basis, so this is a new problem. CC:

RESOLVED |
Description of problem: After typing urpmi --auto-update -v command, I was getting installation failed message for: Installation failed: file /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kontact_akregatorplugin.so from install of akregator-2:16.04.1-3.mga6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package kontact-2:16.04.1-2.mga6.x86_64 file /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kontact_knotesplugin.so from install of knotes-2:16.04.1-3.mga6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package kontact-2:16.04.1-2.mga6.x86_64 file /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kontact_akregatorplugin.so from install of kontact-2:16.04.1-3.mga6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package akregator-2:16.04.1-2.mga6.x86_64 file /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kontact_knotesplugin.so from install of kontact-2:16.04.1-3.mga6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package knotes-2:16.04.1-2.mga6.x86_64. After removing urpme kontact-2:16.04.1-2.mga6.x86_64, the update finished okay. I think kontact-2:16.04.1-2.mga6.x86_64 was conflicting with kontact-2:16.04.1-3.mga6.x86_64. I had to reinstall kontact also. Just thought I would let the team know about this.
