This because you missing gnome-themes-standard it's caused by you install with no-recommends everything. Missing engine is Pixmap/Pixbuf. CC:

ozkyster Correction gtk2-theme-engines is package includes right engine but pulls up if you install that gnome-themes-standard as requires. This not bug neoclust can close this as won't fix. Returning to this bug after some time and several software upgrades I'm unable to recreate it any more - thunderbird and directly downloaded from mozilla.org firefox 45esr are displaying breeze-gtk icons just OK. Otto - I do not have package gtk2-theme-engines installed... I guess we can mark this bug as RESOLVED - FIXED or WORKSFORME? Thanks for the notice, closing then as it's apparently fixed. Status:
NEW =>
RESOLVED Sorry, have to reopen the bug... Just yesterday made fresh network minimal install followed by: urpmi --no-recommends task-plasma5-minimal kde-gtk-config breeze-gtk Still the same situation - breeze style was applied but the icon theme was not - it is some default gnome style probably Adwaita? Hope it fixes itselt again in some point and I promise to be more careful to find the change that fixes it... Resolution:
FIXED =>
(none) If that helps, then testing the application lxappearance to set an icon theme - all other icon themes had their icons displayed in preview window except Breeze and Breeze Dark which had some default theme icons (Hicolor?) diplayed there. Created attachment 8364 [details]

kde Found the culprit :D Package librsvg2_2 is needed to display breeze icons correctly for gtk apllications under plasma session. So I guess librsvg2_2 should be a dependency for kde-gtk-config package? (In reply to Jüri Ivask from comment #10) > Found the culprit :D > Package librsvg2_2 is needed to display breeze icons correctly for gtk > apllications under plasma session. > So I guess librsvg2_2 should be a dependency for kde-gtk-config package? CC'ing the GNOME and GTK+ maintainer group in case the dependency would be sensible to add to the gtk stack itself. CC:

gnome After update to KF5.26.0 Plasma5.7.5 and Applications16.08.1 the situation has not changed - librsvg2_2 is still freely uninstallable. Fixed on svn. Status:
