Description Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2016-05-30 23:57:05 CEST

Mesa 12.0 highly improves support for Intel Graphics cards, especially with Skylake motherboards. For instance, it now supports OpenGL 4.3 instead of 3.3. Also, the support for Skylake in Mageia 5 is currently not great, as described in bug 18376 comment 3. It would be great if Mageia 6 could include Mesa 12.0 to (hopefully) fix all the problems I currently see in mga5 and Mesa 10.5.9.

I know the version freeze for Cauldron was a few days ago, but having troubles with the video card is not a great experience.

Yep, I've been waiting for upstream to release 12.0 and they finally released the rc1, so I've pushed it to cauldron

yes we know... they will push an RC every week until 10th or 17th this month when it goes final
