We will go with the new LTS branch of MediaWiki for Mageia 6.

It should be released May 30/31, according to upstream:

Should version 1.26 be packaged in the meantime to prepare for the upgrade (in case there are relevant packaging changes to make), or would the version bump from 1.23 to 1.27 be painless (based on previous experience)?
