The "drakboot" program crashed. Drakbug-17.30 caught it.

laptop - Mageia Cauldron - KDE plasma - x86_64

- Start your system
- Launch MCC
- Update your system (grub2, grub2-common, grub2-mageia-theme)
- Configure bootloader (set grub2 text mode)
- Finish
And the setting crash, the laptop still usable.

Thanks for the detailed info. There were some issues with grub2 that were fixed two days ago, could you check if you still reproduce this bug on a fully updated cauldron?

Indeed, now I could do this without draktools crash.
