marja11 This might have been solved already by the recent fixes to grub2. Can you still reproduce it with a boot-nonfree.iso from today? Can you > still reproduce it with a boot-nonfree.iso from today? no, selecting Install Mageia, from CD causes the disk to spin at a high speed - no other action. selecting Install Mageia from USB, the "in use" led flashes 6 times, and then stays off todays boot.isos work correctly Status:
