17523 Still valid with Mageia-6-sta1-x86_64-DVD from May 20 Somebody on MLO forum found out a workaround. Open the /home/user/.config/kwinrc file and in the [Compositing] part, set the "Enable" entry to "false".

6RC I can confirm this. The reason I was adding a Panel, is because after the upgrade from Mageia 5, all I had was an empty panel. Once I removed that one, a regular default panel appeared in the same position (bottom of the screen). I don't experience this anymore in current Cauldron. Should be OK on the next ISOs. Status:
