6 in 1 DE install report
@ Ben I understand audio works fine in the other DEs, because you mention it occurs in XFCE in an all-DE instal. However, you don't really say that. Does sound work fine in Plasma5, Gnome, etc? CC:

marja11 in the 6-in-1 install, I first checked LXDE, Mate then Cinnamon DE. sound was ok there. When checked XFCE-no sound. for some reason pulse audio had stopped running. As I had restarted it, I cannot say that it would have not been working in Gnome and Plasma5 as I checked those two DE after I had restarted PA. progression from LXDE to Plasma5 was just logout, change DE and login. no reboot valid for Mageia-6-sta1-i586-DVD.iso DATE.txt: Tue May 3 12:34:47 CEST 2016 (Plasma5 DE was checked first this time) See if the update to PulseAudio 9.0 in Cauldron improves things. Is this bug still valid for newest 6sta2? Keywords:
