latex2rtf is an essential companion to lyx. It allows people who are producing lyx documents to export them to RTF so that their fellow workers who use MSoffice or LibreOffice can read and modify them. The GUI version of latex2rtf is not needed, just the core program that performs the translation, which can be found here :

It has no dependencies.

It's been imported in Cauldron, I'll backport once Mageia 1 backports repos are ready.

The package doesn't need to be backported, it was in Mdv contrib-release 2010.2, so it is valid to push it to Mga1/updates

But there is no maintainer for the package :(

Anyway, the package is in cauldron, so it is expected to be in Mga 2 stable :)

Are you OK with closing this as a wontfix for Mageia 1, or aren't you using Mageia 2 yet?
