However, maybe there is an error that shows anyway, please do attach /root/drakx/report.bug.xz from that install Keywords:

juergen.harms Piggy-backing to this report - it should be the same issue (tell me if I should file a new bug).
After selecting "Custom" partitioning, I obtain a blank zone where I expect an image of the already existing partitions (see attachment 7639 [details]). I think to remember that a bug on a similar issue had been corrected for Mageia 4 or 5.
Some more weird details: if, in the window with the missing drawing of existing partitions, you hit one of the coloured partition-type buttons (say ext4), the missing drawing will appear. If, after that, you re-launch the "Custom" partitioning process (see below) and try again to make the drawing appear by hitting a type button, nothing does happen any more.
Re-launch the "Custom" partitioning processes: the "Custom" partitioning image does not have a "Go-back" button (also a bug?). You can force being set back to the beginning of the partition selection by - from the Custom partitioning window - going ahead without selecting a mount-point - the missing mount point will force being reset to the beginning of partition selection.

Last screenshot has nothing to do (this is bug #1255356 which is already fixed in Cauldron)
Attachment 7639 is obsolete:
