RESOLVED No. When mousing over the net-applet icon it just says "net_applet". (If tooltips is enabled in systemsettings). In Mageia 5 it gave the connection status, IP address, and DNS. Now still nothing. So re-opening. Also Left, Middle or right single or double clicks on it do absolutely nothing here but that's another bug. Status:

Ok, sorry, I had forgotten what it all showed in Mga5 :-/ > > Also Left, Middle or right single or double clicks on it do absolutely > nothing here but that's another bug. It is filed as bug 17592, and reading the link to the upstream bug report that Jüri gave in comment 1, it seems this is a duplicate of bug 17592: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358328 However, I do not understand everything in the upstream bug report, not enough to be sure they are not mixing issues there. Besides, the other bug is assigned to tv. If neoclust gets this one, we double the chances it'll somehow get workarounded, or a fix pushed to or retrieved from upstream KDE, or fixed by porting drakxtools systray applets to e.g. libappindicator. ;-) Keywords:
