Description Marja Van Waes 2016-02-26 22:25:15 CET
When selecting "Force evdev", mousedrake exits immediately.

This happens both in Mageia 5 and in cauldron on this laptop
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/User:Marja/QA/Hardware#Lenovo_ThinkPad_SL510

When started from cli, there's nothing odd in the cli output, nothing but the usual Glib::Object::Introspection & Gtk3 warnings

journalctl -af output is exactly the same when choosing "Force evdev" as when choosing "Any PS2 & USB mouse"

The only reason I tried "Force evdev" was because animtim needed screenshots of when the following files are used (for the redesign work), and I thought it most likely to see them when using "Force evdev"

There's nothing wrong IMHO, it just set up things & exit

I had been told that "Force Evdev" was needed for mouses with additional buttons, and interpreted that as "needed for the detection and _manual_ configuration" of those mouses, so expected an additional screen.
If you don't expect that configuration screen, then my interpretation was wrong.
