still present in kernel-desktop-4.4.1-2

Today I gave Cauldron a try, and there is still no signal on DVI, with kernel 4.4.6-desktop-1.mga6 installed. Google found this:

http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=6012.0

It's in German and describes the same problem, so I'm not the only one. What's interesting is, my box is a Fujitsu Esprimo, too, P7935.

Mass-reassigning all bugs with "kernel" in the Source RPM field that are assigned to tmb, to the kernel packagers group, because tmb is currently MIA.

Ãt least for cauldron (current) kernel, intel graphics (J1900) and display port I can confirm this bug.

You have to switch the screen on/off to get the signal back. I think this happens when the driver is doing "Restoring backlight state" on an external monitor.

I'll recheck this with a 4.4 kernel from mga5 - I think this happend after updating to mga 6

Mageia 5 has officially reached its End of Life on December 31st, 2017 https://blog.mageia.org/en/2017/11/07/mageia-5-eol-postponed/

Is this bug still valid for latest Mageia 6 or cauldron kernel?
