Description Palm Pre 2011-06-12 18:34:09 CEST
Description of problem: I'm using slightly customized LXDE. When starting LXterminal, The terminal is running on a black rectangular resembling the size of terminal itself (see attachement).

Switching to different workspace and the black rectangular is still open when terminal dissappeared. Opening Firefox there eliminates shadow on both workspaces.

I can't reproduce.
What do you mean by a "slightly customized LXDE"?

Did you try using a new user without any customization?

I added volume control to LXDE panel.

Instalattion was on existing /home partition. Unknown icon (#4, see attachment) didn't disappear after the bug was fixed.

Anyway, I installed WindowMaker on the same box and have been using it since.
Just tried LXDE - no shadows anymore.

Must have been fixed upstream.
