stormi I can't reproduce. What do you mean by a "slightly customized LXDE"? Did you try using a new user without any customization? Oliver Status:

ASSIGNED I added volume control to LXDE panel. Instalattion was on existing /home partition. Unknown icon (#4, see attachment) didn't disappear after the bug was fixed. Anyway, I installed WindowMaker on the same box and have been using it since. Just tried LXDE - no shadows anymore. Must have been fixed upstream. Status:
