Unable to set Print Scr key to take a desktop snapshot

Do you have "spectacle" installed? It should pull in khotkeys which adds a new section to the Shortcuts settings.

urpmi khotkeys, rebooted no Custom Shortcuts.
Indicates to me bug is still valid even if it was not on default install, which I think it should.

Workaround: urpmi spectacle
 It showed khotkeys needed to be installed, after install menu had Custom Selection but does not have print screen key setup.

No. urpmi khotkeys did not provide the Custom Shortcut selection.

Jan 29 clean network install does not have the problem.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => FIXED
