Description of problem: At the initial login to Cinnamon DE, the Mageia welcome  screen does not popup by itself, as it does in other desktops

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Cinnamon DE only from Mga6-dev1 , real hardware. reboot
2.login to Cinnamon DE and wait. Mageia welcome does not self-launch
3.check that Mageia Welcome will launch from menu or terminal ok

With Mageia-6-dev1-x86_64-DVD.iso, I have the same problem when I only install LXDE.

This happens also on already installed cauldrons where MageiaWelcome used to start fine, too since some days (XFCE + Plasma5).
I'm *not* 100% sure it is since the update to mageiawelcome-1.4-1.mga6, but it is possible.

I do not have a .mageiawelcome/ so there is no norun.flag either

(Now creating an empty .mageiawelcome/ to see whether that makes a difference. If so I'll tell in another comment within 15 minutes. If it doesn't, then I won't)

As always I'm looking for friendly packager to push it to buildserver :)
