Description Dick Gevers 2016-01-20 16:58:56 CET
Description of problem:

Install from today's Mageia-6-dev1-i586-DVD.iso and proceed to step Partitioning.

My setup only allows the use of the option "Custom Disk Partitioning".

When choosing same I get a popup error reading:

   Partitioning failed: Can't call menthod "get_children" on an undefined value.

I am unable to continue installation from here.

That's weird, that's bug 17484 which got fixed 4 days ago with
drakxtools-17.15-1.mga6

Or which version of drakxtools was used for the isos and for the used stage2?
I think at least drakx-installer-stage2-17.14-5.mga6 is needed.

I don't know how that can be seen, afaik the logs only show the stage2 version, but not stage2 release... Thierry will know.

or should stage2 match the drakxtool version... so be 17.15, too? No 17.15 stage2 was released

Valid for 32 and 64 bit isos

Hardware: x86_64 => All

Comment 4 Thierry Vignaud 2016-01-21 13:48:51 CET
Yep, I didn't upload a stage2.
I'll do a stage2 release tonight
