This marble-common is quite weird as it requires tons of kde packages,but same time it's required by marble-qt what is pure qt version of marble.
Is those requires checked when marble-qt is added to Mageia ?.
I fixed spec file moved Requires: libkdeedu-common section inside mable as it's in wrong place it only need to required by marble not marble-common.
I also added marble-qt requires marble-common,it now have no any kde requires builded and tested it will work with marble and marble-qt.
I load full edited spec file so can review and commit changes.
Name: marble
Summary: A virtual globe and world atlas
Requires: libkdeedu-common
Version: 4.14.3
Release: %mkrel %{rel}

Source: http://download.kde.org/stable/%version/src/%{name}-%version.tar.xz
Patch0: marble-4.14-disable-marble-mobile-and-touch.patch
It was added like this so marble-common pick libkdeedu-common as runtime require what it should not require.

%package qt

Junior_job Hi Otto, Thanks for your effort to improve the spec file, I regret it was never used to fix Marble in Mageia 5. I assume this bug doesn't exist in Mga6 or later, because I don't remember having seen any such reports, so closing this report as OLD, because Mga5 is no longer officially maintained. Please reopen this report and change its "Version:" at the top left to "6", if the same bug still exists in Mageia 6. Status:
