Description Shlomi Fish 2015-12-24 13:36:09 CET
Description of problem:

virt-manager constantly leaks memory when being run on Xfce and no VMs active. I left the computer on overnight with Xfce and virt-manager running, and after I woke up, virt-manager consumed over 80% of my machine's 8 GB of RAM. Now I tried running it again and so far RAM consumption climbed from 1% to 6.8% (and there's a 28.9% CPU consumption).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Cauldron x86-64.

How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Xfce using startx .
2. Start a terminal.
3. Type virt-manager.
4. Enter the sudo password.
5. Monitor the RAM consumption of virt-manager using htop.
