doktor5000 Can you please add the output as root of systemctl status mandriva-everytime.service -a time dkms status SYSTEMCTL_NO_BLOCK=1 time /usr/share/harddrake/service_harddrake Yep could be, that's why I've asked for the outputs to determine :) But thanks for the pointer, that one was new to me. Hello, My observation is exactly the same as that of Frank Griffin: First time I also thought that this is a blockage at the first startup. After a Ctrl Alt Del, the startup is faster. Yesterday, I had to be away, and in return, I noticed that the first boot was full, but very long. The following starts are always shorter. (In reply to Florian Hubold from comment #2) > Can you please add the output as root of > > systemctl status mandriva-everytime.service -a > time dkms status > SYSTEMCTL_NO_BLOCK=1 time /usr/share/harddrake/service_harddrake I am sorry for the delay. Here are the wanted returns. 1/ systemctl status mandriva-everytime.service -a => â mandriva-everytime.service - Reconfigure the system on administrator request Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/mandriva-everytime.service; static; vendor preset: enabled) Active: active (exited) since mer. 2015-12-09 18:27:35 CET; 2min 0s ago Process: 566 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/mandrake_everytime (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 566 (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) CGroup: /system.slice/mandriva-everytime.service déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: blkid gave: swap 53d41512-5a7d-4086-8826-070c8f74350e déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: running: blkid -o udev -p /dev/sda6 déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: blkid gave: ext4 c63fddbc-fd79-450e-acc9-8577416ff694 déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: running: blkid -o udev -p /dev/sda7 déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: blkid gave: ext4 01ddff00-117f-462d-b088-69d5cebb53c7 déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: running: blkid -o udev -p /dev/sda8 déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: blkid gave: ext4 b64e7d16-494c-4c8b-9e7b-a8b0b7c09ee0 déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: perImageAppend is now splash quiet noiswmd resume=UUID=53d41512-5a7d-4086-8826-070c8f74350e déc. 09 18:27:35 test service_harddrake[584]: running: /sbin/display_driver_helper --is-kms-allowed déc. 09 18:27:35 test systemd[1]: Started Reconfigure the system on administrator request. 2/time dkms status => dkms: commande introuvable real 0m0.001s user 0m0.000s sys 0m0.000s 3/ SYSTEMCTL_NO_BLOCK=1 time /usr/share/harddrake/service_harddrake => i18n_env: lang:fr country:FR ... 0.51user 0.02system 0:09.54elapsed 5%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 115936maxresident)k 8inputs+96outputs (0major+13569minor)pagefaults 0swaps voilà |
Created attachment 7266 [details] systemd-analyze critical-chain I Installs cauldron this morning. (BUT the problem has existed for a few days) It is a very basic installation: deselection of all packages, without X server, without recommends packages. The first startup takes longer than 6 minutes. It is mandriva-everytime very very long (see attached file). What other controls do?
