That is correct, but for now keeping version "cauldron". If it gets packed for cauldron, this request can be reopened for "1"

I'll work on it.

Comment 4 Jeff Robins 2012-03-05 09:03:17 CET
ntfs-config requires hal to access removable media and, at least on my test machine, to run. hal has become obsolete and is not installed by default in Cauldron. I'm checking on the long term support of hal.
Comment 5 Funda Wang 2012-03-05 11:27:49 CET
Well, I think diskdrake already handle NTFS partition of internal driver via ntfs-3g. For removable medias, it should be handled by udev currently.

There is no need introduce any other tools.

Comment 6 Thierry Vignaud 2012-03-05 13:55:13 CET
Indeed. udev/udisks obsolete hal by now

Comment 7 Jeff Robins 2012-03-05 20:57:03 CET
I'm sorry Peter. The requirement on Hal makes this package that can't be supported in Mageia. If the author can update the program to use udev only, then maybe it can be included at a later time.
