marja11 Assuming we have the same issue, I've had this for a while now and it crashes KMail. From a commandline my output is: ~]$ kleopatra kleopatra: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libKF5AkonadiCore.so.5: undefined symbol: _ZTIN7Akonadi8Protocol7CommandE CC:

curtis_mageia ... can't believe I missed these. I'm getting quite a few of these errors with akonadi: ]# urpmi lib64kf5akonadicore5 lib64kf5akonadicontact5 Installation failed: file /usr/lib64/libKF5AkonadiCore.so.5 from install of lib64kf5akonadicore5-15.11.80-1.mga6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package lib64kf5akonadicore4-15.08.3-1.mga6.x86_64 Installation failed: file /usr/lib64/libKF5AkonadiContact.so.5 from install of lib64kf5akonadicontact5-15.11.80-1.mga6.x86_64 conflicts with file from package lib64kf5akonadicontact4-15.08.3-1.mga6.x86_64 I guess I have a different issue. After going through all my outdated libs in "urpmq --not-available" and installing the new ones, kleopatra works. See if it works for you. (In reply to Curtis Hildebrand from comment #3) > After going through all my outdated libs in "urpmq --not-available" and > installing the new ones, kleopatra works. See if it works for you. kleopatra now runs from the command line on my upgrade and clean install. It failed running from systemtray/kde menu on my upgrade install. Did not try running it from my clean install systemtray. Up to you if you want to close this as resolved. Maybe the command line messages will indicate the fix for running from the taskbar/systemtray. Is this bug still valid? CC:
