Upgrading to breeze-5.4.90-3.mga6 removes the default Plasma5 DE wallpaper Next, leaving desktop with black background, as the package currently contains only the style and the wallpaper has been moved to the package breeze-common.
So I guess that the package plasma-workspace should have a package breeze-common as a dependency...
