Cauldron Mga6: adding user to groups results in 'Invalid contents of lock `/etc/shadow.lock'' error =>
Mga6-dev1: adding user to groups results in 'Invalid contents of lock `/etc/shadow.lock'' error Certainly because shadow-utils have been not set to default to SHA512 https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16467#c54 Thierry ? I confirm. This appears to be something left over from install, because if you remove /etc/shadow.lock, it then works fine and the error does not reoccur. CC:
