2. kwrite .bashrc
3. Click Settings->Configure Editor
7. Note, no extensions option for selection.

confirming on plasma 5  but i don't know yet if this is "normal" or not

Appears to work correctly now with mga6, latest update at Kwrite 16.12.3
KDE framework 5.32.0, Qt 5.6.2, xcb windowing system,

This bug could probably be closed (note: I'm running 32bit i586, not x86_64)
