Description of problem:
I have a Word Document with tables I need to modify. I need to merge a few cells.
The procedure should be, highlight the adjacent cells > Table >merge cells
But there is no such thing as Merge Cells in our version, it's there in MS Windows version 4.4.12

Can you reproduce with a new document too? And the usual question even if the answer is probably obvious: are you sure the document is not open read-only?

It would probably be good to update to the newest bugfix release of LO and the libraries it uses in the branch Mageia 5 is using.
