Description of problem: Konsole window horizontal resizing (widening) caused X freezing. X stops responding to input,  mouse cursor can still move, but clicking has no effect. Nvidia video card and non-free nvidia driver are used. Same problem in Mageia 1. X cannot be killed; only a reboot clears the state.  It happens when text is wider than window and I want see all row text on same row. If I starting widering window then it happening. It is systematic bug. I can reproduce it easily. 

Yesterday it happened when I restoring my HDD and now I lost my /home and all data.

It's a know issue & mentionned in errata ( http://www.mageia.org/wiki/doku.php?id=mageia1:errata )
