ibus based Language selection works on some applications but not others.  largely connected to Japanesesupport (ibus-kcc) due to environment space configuration, ibus will work sometimes in Japanese on KDE Applications, some times in GTK2 Applications (FireFox) and sometimes in GTK 3 Applications (LibreOffice) but never all three at once. In Fedora this is not the case, as ibus works on all three environments.
