This needs a stack dump or stacktrace but I have no idea what packages are required. Tried 'gdb pavucontrol' and came up empty.
There was a recommendation to try

 dnf debuginfo-install pavucontrol-2.0-6.mga5.x86_64

but dnf is missing from my system and does not appear to be an installable package. And I do not know what else might be required.

However I found this in my home directory:

[lcl@difda ~]$ cat segfault
Aug 24 22:38:25 difda kernel: traps: pavucontrol[5476] general protection ip:7fc42188889a sp:7fff3c3e4418 error:0 in libc-2.22.so[7fc421803000+1a9000]

and this elsewhere:

Confirm, I have crashes too. IIRC, crashes started after updating to gcc 5. Some programs started to crash too, but after updates is is fixed. May be pavucontrol needs rebuild?

Thanks Blino for fixing and Nikita for confirming. In the future feel free to close the bug if you're pretty confident all is well :)

Cheers!
