Connectagram is a fine puzzle where someone unscrambles letters to find words.

After a word is found, it's color changes to green and one can click on it to fetch a definition -- from "Wiktionary", it is said.

That part (getting the definition) does not work; instead a message "no definition found" is displayed.

But it works in two other PCs with Mageia 4.

Any idea?

It's the same wi-fi router, nameservers obtained thru DHCP (the same of another machine on which definitions work), internet is working great in Firefox and Konqueror, routes are the same, I can ping external servers etc.

Maybe it's some silly mistake, but I can't think of anything right now... as it's just a game I've rated it as "severity: minor". The game is playable, because it's possible to know if the word is right or not. It's just the definitions which cannot be obtained.

Bug still present on Mageia 6 sta 1. Is there a MGA6TOO tag? Or should we change the platform to Cauldron (after all it will eventually replace M5 and fixing bugs in older releases is not very useful).

Also, it occurred to me that the dictionary site could be preventing the access as unauthorized (though I don't believe to be the case).

BTW, just for reference, an earlier version of the game (1.0.1) works on Mint 17.3. The version in Mageia 6 is 1.2.3.

I'm reducing the priority of this bug to low as this is time to think about greater challenges.

Mageia is an excellent distribution that does more than the other ones. For instance, Crack Attack is packaged with sound, which does not happen in other distributions -- I think they leave it to the user as an exercise... :-)

No problem, I really think this bug is very secondary. As it happens, I like word games... so... thanks for your attention.

I know you guys have more pressing issues -- because I create them :-D (insert evil laughter here).

I'm testing the game on a newly installed Mga6sta1 and OpenSSL was 1.02h... updated to 1.02j.

Definitions cannot be retrieved with both.

I have uploaded a updated package for Mageia 5.
It's a feature and bugfix release and switches to using Qt 5 now instead of Qt 4.

Tested on two machines (both with i586): 1.2.4 works well.

Congratulations. To be honest, I was expecting Qt5 to fail on the older non-SSE2 computer. Maybe no complicated code was run... :-)

After the bureaucratic steps are solved, I think this bug can be closed.
