Description Vincent RENE CORAIL 2011-06-07 00:45:48 CEST
Description of problem: I have upgraded from Mandriva 2010.2. Everything works fine except that it's impossible to connect to the Internet through any of two ethernet cards.
I've got one gigabit/ethernet integrated card in my P5Q-SE2 Asus motherboard and one separated Realtek 10/100 ethernet card. None of them allow me to connect.
Fortunately, I can connect through my wireless card.

I have tried to configure manually my ethernet card, but no way.
In the mcc, I have filled everything from my IP adresse to the DNS and whatever I do, the card will keep disactivate. There is a small red cross next to the ethernet icon.

Here is what I have with ifconfig for my wired cards :

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:FC:57:2F:4E
          UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 lg file transmission:1000
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
          Interruption:18 Adresse de base:0xac00

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:23:54:55:F5:9F
          UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

No need to work on this "bug", as it's not one. It's a bug on my freebox...
